In the favelas, it seems the only limited resource is space, by virtue of their use of unclaimed land, they often find themselves on terrain that does not lend itself to building activities. This project is an attempt to liberate the favela from its reluctant host, the ground plain. Social relationships within the community would be mediated by a circulation system that could evolve over time, developing responses to changing circumstances.
